Jose Buenviaje

Jose Buenviaje has over three decades of experience in the field of quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Jose began their career at the Poison Laboratory in 1990, where they worked as a Forensic Chemist, conducting blood and urine sample processing and testifying as an expert witness in toxicology cases. In 1994, they moved to the San Diego Reference Laboratory, where they implemented and standardized the Forensic Department and performed toxicological analysis. Jose also testified as an expert witness for the state of California. In 1995, Buenviaje joined Syntron Bioresearch as a Quality Assurance Supervisor, overseeing the implementation of the QA Department and participating in FDA submissions. Since 1999, they have been with BioAgilytix, starting as the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance. Jose is currently serving as the Vice President of Quality Assurance, where they fulfill the role as the executive quality authority and responsible for the creation and compliance of the global quality system.

Jose Buenviaje has a B.A. degree in Biology and Psychology from UC San Diego.
