Federico Guelpa

Federico Guelpa is the Co-founder and Head of Strategy at Biocentis, a spin-out from Imperial College London focused on developing eco-friendly genetic solutions to combat harmful insect species that threaten human health, biodiversity, and food security. Prior to this role, Federico worked at Oliver Wyman from January 2018 to June 2021, where positions included Associate and Senior Consultant, contributing to various projects in the banking and insurance sectors, such as developing bancassurance strategies and managing integration support for major acquisitions. Federico's earlier experience includes a consulting internship at Oliver Wyman and participation in a business analysis competition with The Boston Consulting Group. Educational qualifications consist of a Master of Science in Economic and Social Sciences from Università Bocconi, alongside studies at The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Science from Università Bocconi.
