Ken Horemans

Ken Horemans has a diverse work experience in various leadership positions. Ken currently serves as the Director of Software Architecture at BioCentury Inc. Prior to this, they were the Company Owner at Whitebox Software Consulting. In 2020, they worked as the Director of Engineering at Symend. From 2018 to 2020, they held the role of Director of Product Engineering at PowerSchool Group LLC, where they were responsible for software release and development. Before that, they were the Director of Product Engineering at QuirkLogic, Inc. from 2014 to 2018, overseeing R&D for software and hardware services. Ken also worked as the Director of Product Engineering at I2X Technologies and held senior management positions at Blackboard and Elluminate. Ken started their career as a Manager of Development Technologies at 1st Calgary Savings and inUnison Technology Services. Throughout their career, they have shown leadership and expertise in technology architecture, software development, and team management.

Ken Horemans holds a BSc in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alberta. Additionally, they are a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) obtained in 2023 from the Scrum Alliance.
