Microbiologist Dr. Lydia Zeibich

Dr. L. Zeibich is a microbiologist with extensive experience in research and development, currently serving as the R&D Microbiome Specialist and Manager of Probiotics at Biochem Zusatzstoffe Handels- und Produktionsgesellschaft mbH since January 2021. Previously, Dr. Zeibich was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Arizona State University, focusing on the investigation of intestinal fermentation processes and their effects on health and various disorders, contributing three peer-reviewed publications to the field. Dr. Zeibich holds a PhD in Intestinal Fermentation Processes and Associated Microbes, a Master's degree in Molecular Ecology with an emphasis in Microbiology, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology, all obtained from the University of Bayreuth. Additional experience includes a brief internship at Life Technologies GeneArt AG.
