John Malin

John Malin has a diverse work experience in the fields of synthetic biology, genomics, microbiology, and entomology. John has worked for BioConsortia, Inc. since 2016, in the roles of Scientist III - Synthetic Biology & Genomics, Scientist II - Synthetic Biology & Genomics, Scientist I - Microbiology, and Senior Research Associate. From 2010 to 2016, they worked for Pro Farm Group - Formerly Marrone Bio Innovations, in the roles of Assistant Research Scientist, Microbiology Technician, and Intern - Entomology & Microbiology. In 2011, they also worked as a Microbiology 101 Tutor for UC Davis.

John Malin holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Biotechnology from The University of Edinburgh, obtained in 2016. John also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of California, Davis, obtained in 2012.
