Amanda Decker

Amanda Decker has a diverse work experience in various communication and media roles. Amanda started their career at WCJB TV20 as a News Anchor, Reporter, and Producer in 2006 and worked there until 2010. Amanda later joined ENIGMA MARKETING & TRAVEL SOLUTIONS, INC. as a Project Manager from 2010 to 2011. Amanda then worked at Independent News Network as a News Anchor/Producer from 2011 to 2014. Amanda also worked at The Media Gateway, INC as a News Anchor and News Director from 2014 to 2015. Amanda then joined WEVV-TV as a News Anchor and Executive Producer from 2015 to 2020. In 2020, they moved to Star City Broadcasting and worked as an Anchor/Reporter until 2021. Amanda then joined THE PLAID AGENCY as a Copywriter and Public Relations Specialist in 2021 and was later promoted to Associate Director of Communications from 2022 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Communications at BioCrossroads.

Amanda Decker received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Telecommunications from Ball State University, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. In addition, they have obtained certification in LinkedIn Marketing Strategy from LinkedIn in February 2022 and is also certified as a Substitute Teacher by the State of Indiana in 2020.
