Dr. William Sheridan

Dr. William Sheridan, MB BS, FRACP, FACP, currently serves as the Chief Development Officer and Chief Medical Officer at BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a position held since July 2008. Previously, Dr. Sheridan was the Sole Proprietor of WPS Biotech Consulting and held multiple leadership roles at Amgen Inc. from 1993 to 2007, including Vice President of North American Medical Affairs and International Medical Affairs. Earlier experience includes serving as Head of the Bone Marrow Transplant Service at Royal Melbourne Hospital and conducting research at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Sheridan completed medical training at the University of Melbourne, earning an MB BS degree in 1977.
