Fred Yang

Fred Yang is currently the Chief Development Officer/Senior Vice President at KBP BioSciences since August 2015. Previously, they worked as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Drexel University's Medical School starting in June 2012. Before that, they were the Head of Diabetes & Metabolic Disease, Biostat and Informatics at AstraZeneca from July 2014 to July 2015. Fred also served as the Head of BDS, Alternative Development Program at GSK from an unspecified start date in 2006 until June 2014.

Fred Yang earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Peking University in 1984. Fred then pursued graduate studies in Economic Statistics at Renmin University of China from 1987 to 1989. Fred furthered their education by obtaining a Master of Science degree in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee from 1990 to 1991. Finally, they completed a Ph.D. in Statistics at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 1991 to 1996.
