Sophi Marmen

Sophi Marmen has held several roles in the past few years. In 2021, they began working as a Project Manager for Labguru, where they are responsible for ensuring customers are properly and satisfactorily added to the Labguru Platformer by orchestrating successful implementations Processes. In 2020, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at Israel Oceanographic and Limnological Research (IOLR) institute. In 2019, they were a Microbiology Scientist at BactoSense Technologies, where they linked Classic Microbiology methods to advanced methodologies in optics to develop a new technique and planned and performed experimental analyses. In 2018, they were a Deputy Director in Microbiology QC Laboratory at Unilever, where they managed a small team of lab technicians, managed the lab inventory, and conducted experiments to develop protocols.

Sophi Marmen obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Molecular and Environmental Microbiology from the University of Haifa between 2013 and 2018. Sophi also obtained their Master's degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Management from the University of Haifa between 2014 and 2016.
