Ben Ferguson started their work experience in 2011 as a Mechanical Engineering Technician at SanDisk. Ben contributed to the design of the ioFX product line, advised on design for manufacturability, and created testing plans for products and packaging. Later, they worked as an Associate Manufacturing Engineer from 2014 to 2015. After that, they joined Western Digital in 2014 as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, where they led the Packaging Team and streamlined product packaging options.
In 2018, Ben worked at BioFire Diagnostics, LLC as a Technology Transfer Project Manager until 2020. Then they became a Software Project Manager until 2022. In 2021, they worked at bioMérieux as an Intrapreneur until October 2022. Lastly, they joined BioFire Defense in October 2022 as a Program Manager.
Ben Ferguson received their High School Diploma from the Green Mountain High School in 2006. Ben pursued a Bachelor's degree at the University of Colorado Denver from 2006 to 2008. Ben then transferred to the University of Utah and completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with an Emphasis in Design and Manufacturing and a minor in Design from 2009 to 2013. Ben obtained a certification in Project Management for Administrators from GoSkills.com in February 2015. Recently, they completed their Master of Science in Information Systems from the University of Utah from 2020 to 2021.
