Ozan Yasavur, EIT

Ozan Yasavur, EIT has a diverse work experience beginning in 2013. Ozan was the Outboard Design Manager for Istanbul TU Racing from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Project Intern for Arçelik Global, an Intern for Alarko Carrier Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş., and a Project Intern for Renaissance Construction. In 2017, they were a PEP Intern for Mercedes-Benz Türk A.Ş. and a Market Analysis Specialist for Limak Enerji. In 2018, they were a System Engineer for Turkish Aerospace and in 2020, they were a Project Coordinator for S’thetics Building Systems. Currently, they are a Mechanical Engineer for Bioforcetech Corporation and a Structural Engineer for Licensed Structural Engineers. Ozan'sroles include preparing reports, designs and drawings according to California Building Code, making calculations about pressures, loads and stresses, considering the strength of construction material and selecting appropriately, coordinating exterior construction, planning, executing, controlling and overseeing all construction activities, controlling of all material and equipment, estimating and tracking weight, center of gravity and mass properties of systems/subsystems, providing inertia data for loads, static and dynamic analysis, short, mid & long-term power supply, demand and price forecasting and related sensitivities, analysis of global and local energy related commodity (gas, coal and Brent) markets, budget forward curve modeling and reporting, and responsible for lean management and Kaizen methodology in bus assembly.

Ozan Yasavur, EIT has a comprehensive educational background. Ozan attended Kabataş Erkek Lisesi from 2007 to 2012 and obtained a high school degree in science. Ozan then went on to pursue a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering at Istanbul Technical University, achieving an Engineer's degree in 2017. After that, they completed an Engineer's degree in Mechanical and Civil Engineering at Politécnico de Coimbra from 2015 to 2016. Ozan then returned to Istanbul Technical University to pursue a Master's degree in Energy Science and Technology, which they completed in 2021. In addition to their academic credentials, Ozan has also obtained certifications from Onshape and Coursera, including the Release Management Admin and User Training Course Completion, Onshape Bootcamp Training Course Completion, Engineer In Training, and Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python).
