Shardae Showell

Shardae Showell, PhD, is an experienced professional in the field of medical science and clinical development, currently serving as Associate Medical Director in Clinical Development focused on Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia at Biogen since February 2023. Prior to this role, Shardae Showell worked as a Medical Science Liaison supporting Genentech at Ashfield from May 2022 to February 2023, and previously held a similar position at PTC Therapeutics, Inc. in US Neurology. Academic experience includes serving as an Assistant Professor, Visiting Assistant Professor, and Adjunct Professor at Lincoln University between January 2019 and January 2022, as well as working as a Clinical Research Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania from May 2015 to August 2017. Shardae Showell obtained a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Neuroscience from Delaware State University, a CGS in Biomedical Sciences from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Rowan University.
