Elin Birgersson

Research Engineer, Preclinical research at BioInvent International

Elin Birgersson has a diverse work experience in the field of research and laboratory work. Elin started their career in 2006 as a Laboratory Assistant at AnoxKaldnes AB, where they performed analytical quality control of water samples. Elin then worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Tekniska verken i Linköping AB from 2008 to 2010, where they collected water samples and conducted analytical measurements.

In 2012, Birgersson joined SciLifeLab as a Research Engineer and Lab Coordinator Biobank Profiling. Elin'sresponsibilities included performing high-throughput multiplexed immunoassays, developing assays and techniques, and managing laboratory operations. Elin continued working at SciLifeLab until 2016.

Since 2016, Birgersson has been working at BioInvent International AB as a Research Engineer in Preclinical research. Elin'smain responsibilities include managing the conversion of scFv to full-length IgG and efforts within target identification using molecular and cell biology methods. Elin has also participated in the PEACe Boston 2019 conference.

Elin Birgersson completed their Master's Degree in Chemical biology, with a duration of six years, from 2005 to 2011, at Linköping University. Additionally, they pursued a Master Thesis program from 2010 to 2011 at the University of Dundee. During this period, they specialized in Developmental Signalling, which comprised 60hp and lasted for nine months.
