Niyaz Yoosuf

Niyaz Yoosuf has extensive work experience in the field of computational biology. Starting in 2008, they worked as a Project Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras for two years. In 2010, they pursued a PhD at Aix-Marseille University, which they completed in 2013. Niyaz then joined SciLifeLab as a Postdoctoral Fellow from July 2014 to June 2017. Following that, they worked at Karolinska Institutet, first as a Postdoctoral Fellow from July 2014 to May 2019, and then as a Senior Postdoctoral Researcher from June 2019 to March 2021. Currently, Niyaz is serving as the Director of Computational Biology at BioInvent International AB since February 2022.

Niyaz Yoosuf completed a Master's degree in Bioinformatics from the University of Madras between 2006 and 2008.
