James Galloway

Director Program Management at Biolinq

James Galloway has over 30 years of experience in program management, software engineering, and software development. James began their career in 1988 as a Programmer/Analyst at Lockheed Advanced Development Company, where they developed simulation systems for the F-117A "Nighthawk" Stealth Fighter. In 1991, they moved to XonTech, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer, working with PhD scientists to design and implement scientific programs on massively parallel real-time embedded systems deployed on military assets.

In 1998, they joined Nokia, Inc. as an Engineering Manager - Software R&D. For three years, they led the software organization responsible for resolving all software-related issues in all Nokia CDMA products. James also served as a technical advisor and liaison to major customers and to Nokia's legal team in several potentially-actionable disputes.

In 2006, they moved to Motorola Mobile Devices as a Senior Program Manager, consulting on organizational and quality improvements. James was responsible for the successful launch of several mobile phone products for Sprint.

In 2008, they began working for Cardinal Health (CareFusion) as a Senior Program Manager, managing the development of medical devices which securely store and deliver medications and medical supplies.

In 2009, they joined PatientSafe Solutions as Director of Program Management. James was responsible for the successful deployment of the company's care system and its iOS-based BCMA device into dozens of hospitals. James also provided management of the company's Sales, BizDev and Implementation pipelines.

In 2012, they moved to Dexcom as Director New Markets PMO. Theirmission was to guide new initiatives, helping Dexcom broaden its reach and allow its technology to benefit patients across a greater spectrum. James was responsible for the first introduction of Remote Monitoring for CGM (then known as "Dexcom Share").

In 2021, they joined Biolinq as Director of Program Management.

James Galloway attended UC San Diego from 1983 to 1988, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Cognitive Science and Computer Science.
