Kanth Josyula

Kanth Josyula has worked in a variety of roles in the field of material science since 1995. Kanth began their career as a Visiting Scientist at Nicolaus Copernicus University in 1995. Kanth then moved to Purdue University in 1996, where they worked as a Research Associate and Post-Doctoral Fellow. In 2001, they joined Sigma Aldrich as a Scientist, and over the next 11 years they progressed to Senior Scientist, Principal Scientist, and R&D Lead - Soft Materials. In 2012, they joined Covia (formerly Fairmount Santrol) as Director, Materials Research. During their five years at Covia, they developed and executed technology roadmaps for Oil & Gas and industrial business segments, led cross-functional teams, and introduced new resin coated product. In 2017, they became Senior Director, R&D at Covia. Kanth is currently Director Of Product Development at BioLogiQ Inc., a position they have held since 2022.

Kanth Josyula's education history includes a Post-Doc from Purdue University in Organometallic Chemistry (1996-1998), a Ph.D from the University of Hyderabad in Synthetic Organic Chemistry (1988-1994), an M.Sc. from the University of Hyderabad in Chemistry (1986-1988), a B.Sc. from Acharya Nagarjuna University in Chemistry, Physics and Maths (1983-1986), and a High School Diploma from The Hindu High School, Machlipatnam, India.
