Mike Kashino

Mike Kashino has extensive experience in laboratory information management systems and information technology within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as Associate Director for IT Strategic Platforms - Lab Systems at BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. since November 2016, Mike has held various leadership roles focused on IT applications and LIMS. Previous positions include Informatics Consultant at LabAnswer and GLIMS Administrator at Novartis Vaccines and Diagnostics, where responsibilities included configuring and supporting laboratory information systems. Additional roles involved administering and supporting a variety of laboratory systems at Janssen Alzheimer Immunotherapy and Elan Pharmaceuticals, where contributions included overseeing upgrades and implementing GLP bioanalytical methods for clinical trials. Mike's educational background includes studies at California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo and UC Santa Barbara.
