Meredith Rittman

Director of Biomedical Engineering at BioMech Golf

Meredith Rittman has a diverse work experience in the field of biomedical engineering and research. Meredith currently holds the position of Director of Biomedical Engineering at BioMech since November 2017. Prior to this role, Meredith worked as a Research Intern at the NASA Glenn Research Center in 2015, where they completed a research project on the efficacy of pharmaceuticals exposed to deep space radiation. Meredith presented this project to fellow interns, faculty, and NASA employees. Before that, they worked as a Research Intern at the Cleveland Clinic in 2012, conducting a research project in the Emergency Department and presenting it to a panel of physicians and healthcare providers. Meredith also assisted physicians with daily tasks. In 2011, they had a similar role as a Research Intern at the Cleveland Clinic, but in the Orthotics and Prosthetics Department. Meredith conducted a quality outcome study on patient satisfaction with orthotic and prosthetic devices and assisted clinicians with daily tasks. Overall, Meredith has shown a strong commitment to research and a diverse range of experiences in the biomedical industry.

Meredith Rittman pursued their education with a focus on biomedical engineering. Meredith completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Connecticut from 2012 to 2016. In 2015, they participated in an Engineering Exchange program at The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University. Continuing their academic journey, they obtained a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University, completing their studies in 2017. Prior to their undergraduate studies, they attended Archbishop Hoban High School from 2008 to 2012.
