Dominique Loque is a seasoned expert in plant molecular biology and synthetic biology, currently serving as Chief Scientific Officer at Biomemory since June 2024. Prior to this role, Dominique held key positions at Neoplants focused on research and development, as well as leading design teams aimed at developing synthetic biology tools for plant metabolic engineering to address climate change and pollution issues. With extensive experience at Bayer Crop Science as Head of Biology Excellence in Disease Control, and as a co-founder and scientific advisor at AFINGEN, Dominique has cultivated a robust background in agricultural sciences. Additional academic contributions include serving as an adjunct professor at the University of California, Berkeley, and holding leadership roles at the Joint BioEnergy Institute and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Plant Molecular Biology from the University of Hohenheim and a Master's degree in Agronomy and Plant Molecular Biology from Montpellier University.
