Patrick Shortt

Patrick Shortt is an experienced molding project engineer currently employed at Biomerics since July 2021, previously serving as a molding process engineer at ICU Medical from May 2018 to August 2021. Prior to these roles, Patrick held positions as a process engineering intern at Carlisle Construction Materials, where responsibilities included optimizing prototypes for polyisocyanurate foam insulation production, and as a merchandise execution associate at The Home Depot, focusing on project organization and problem resolution. Additionally, experience as a teachers aide at the University of Utah involved supervising and mentoring students in bioengineering, and an internship at ICU Medical entailed creating standard operating procedures for liquid silicone injection molding. Patrick holds a Bachelor's degree in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from the University of Utah, awarded in 2018.
