Steffen Gebhardt

Steffen Gebhardt is a seasoned professional in remote sensing and biodiversity monitoring, currently serving as a Senior Scientist at biometrio.earth since January 2023. With extensive experience as Co-Founder and Senior Project Manager at EOSS since 2016, Steffen has also held key roles, including Senior Manager Data and Technology at Digitize the Planet e.V. and Specialist in Satellite Monitoring Systems with FAO. Notable contributions include development of the REDD+ MRV AD System for Mexico and advancements in satellite data integration and algorithm development. Education includes a PhD in Remote Sensing from The University of Bonn and a Master's degree in Cartography from Technische Universität Dresden.
