Anika Hazra

Anika Hazra is a seasoned communications professional with a strong background in science writing and digital media. Currently serving as a Research & Communications Officer at the Donnelly Centre for Cellular and Biomolecular Research at the University of Toronto, Anika specializes in creating strategic content across various platforms, including print, web, and social media. Anika's previous roles include National Communications Advisor for the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, where campaign planning and stakeholder collaboration were key responsibilities, and Science Writer for the Biomimicry Institute, focusing on sustainable technology. Anika holds a Master of Science in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from the University of Illinois Chicago, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Ecology from the University of Toronto.
