Christina Coquilla

Christina Coquilla has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Christina currently works as an Application Engineer at BioNex Solutions since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Rigel Pharmaceuticals Inc. for a significant period of time. At Rigel Pharmaceuticals, they held various roles including Associate Director/Director of HTS from 2011 to 2021, Senior Manager from 2005 to 2010, and Senior Research Associate I and II from 1998 to 2005. Their responsibilities at Rigel Pharmaceuticals included developing and optimizing biochemical and cell-based assays, programming robotic systems for high-throughput screening, analyzing screening data, and generating compound hit lists. Before joining Rigel Pharmaceuticals, Christina worked as a Research Associate at Tularik Pharmaceutical Co from 1992 to 1998, where they processed compounds for screening, programmed robotic systems, and organized compound library plates.

Christina Coquilla pursued their undergraduate education from 1988 to 1992 at Santa Clara University. Christina obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree with a focus on Biology during this time.
