Jennifer Schuhn has experience as a Scientific Associate at BioNTech IMFS since October 2018. Prior to that, Jennifer was a Summer Intern at Buck Institute for Research on Aging in July 2012. Jennifer's internship involved assessing the neuroprotection mechanism of securinine, a phytochemical from Chinese medicine, using BV2 cells activated by LPS. Jennifer also interned at Institut für Immunologie und Genetik in August 2011, where Jennifer conducted molecular HLA typing and evaluated anti-HLA antibodies.
