Marcel Simsek

Marcel Simsek is a Scientist in Quality Control RNA at BioNTech IMFS since January 2022, specializing in the validation of biomolecular analytical methods, method development, and assay testing instructions. Prior experience includes a role as a Forschender Doktorand at Universität Regensburg from October 2017 to February 2021 and a practicum at Analytik Institut Rietzler GmbH focusing on microbiological water and food testing in mid-2012. Marcel Simsek holds a Doctorate in Chemistry from the University of Regensburg (2017-2021), a Master of Science in Chemistry from the same institution (2015-2017), and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Chemistry from Technische Hochschule Nürnberg Georg Simon Ohm (2010-2014). Additionally, Marcel Simsek completed further training as a CAPA Manager with a focus on project management at Habmann Group GbR from July to December 2021.
