Raquel Furtado

Raquel Furtado is a Senior Scientist II in Translational Immunology at BioNTech SE since March 2021. Prior to this, Raquel held the position of Postdoctoral Fellow and BETTR/IRACDA Scholar at Albert Einstein College of Medicine from January 2016 to February 2021. Raquel also has experience as a Research Assistant in the Viral Genomics group at the J. Craig Venter Institute from May 2007 to August 2007. Raquel holds a PhD in Biomedical Sciences with a focus on Immunology from Albert Einstein College of Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences with a specialization in Genetics and Development from Cornell University.
