Anastasia Krivoruchko

Anastasia Krivoruchko is the Co-Founder and CEO of Biopetrolia. Anastasia has a Ph.D from Carleton University and has previous experience working as a project leader at Chalmers University of Technology. Her work has focused on supervision and coordination of different projects aimed at producing biofuels, bulk chemicals and specialty chemicals in yeast, as well as creation of synthetic biology tools to accelerate cell factory development. Besides supervision of internal projects, they have been responsible for coordination of collaboration projects with various industrial partners. Anastasia has also been involved in development of the intellectual property arising from the different projects.

Anastasia Krivoruchko has a PhD in Molecular biology of anoxia tolerance from Carleton University and a B.Sc in Biochemistry and Biotechnology from the same school.
