Jim Tylock

Jim Tylock is a highly experienced engineer with expertise in embedded systems, firmware development, and software engineering.

Jim has recently worked as a Principal Embedded Systems Engineer at BioSensics, where they are currently employed since 2023.

Prior to this, Jim served as a Senior Firmware Engineer at 6 River Systems from 2022 to 2023. During this role, they developed a new robotic platform using TI Sitara ARM SoC and C++. Jim also developed features for the Chuck robot picking platform to prevent wheel slip when hard stopping.

Before that, they worked as a Software Engineer at Magna International from 2022 to 2022.

From 2019 to 2021, Jim was a Hardware, Software, and Systems Engineer at Optimus Ride.
