Alasdair Thong

Alasdair Thong has a wide range of work experience in the life sciences and healthcare sectors. In 2019, they became a Founding Partner at Selvedge Venture, a Venture Capital management and advisory firm. In 2020, they became Business and Corporate Development at BIOS Health Ltd, a company developing the first full-stack neural interface platform, and a Venture Partner at Mubadala Capital and Ada Ventures. In 2021, they became Co-Founder of Multiomic Health, a next-generation precision medicine venture, Board Observer at PharmaCCX, Investor/Advisor at Avro Life Science, Ochre Bio, and Exogene Ltd., and Non Executive Director and Founding Advisor at Sanome.

Alasdair Thong has a diverse educational background. Alasdair has a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge, a BA (Hons) in Law and Chinese from SOAS University of London, and Chinese Language studies from Beijing Normal University and Fudan University. Alasdair also attended Eton College.
