Kevin's experience also includes being the Chief Engineer at Ascend NTNU, where they led a team in the development of an autonomous drone for a competition. Kevin also worked as a Scientific Assistant at Forsvarets forskningsinstitutt - FFI, where they conducted research on launching a quad-copter with a cannon. Lastly, Kevin has prior experience as a Process Operator at Orkla ASA, where they gained practical skills in maintenance and production.

Kevin K. Kaldvansvik completed their Master of Science in Cybernetics and Robotics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in 2021. Prior to that, they attended Kristiansund Videregående Skole from 2012 to 2016 and obtained a Certificate of apprenticeship in Chemical Processing with a focus on physics, mathematics, and process. In May 2022, Kevin also obtained a Deep Learning Specialization certification from Coursera.
