Christopher Swearingen has a comprehensive work experience in the fields of biometrics, clinical outcomes and analytics, biostatistics, and genetics. Christopher has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Biometrics at Biosplice Therapeutics, Vice President of Clinical Outcomes and Analytics at Samumed, LLC, and Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Genetics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Throughout their career, Christopher has collaborated with researchers in planning, designing, and analyzing studies such as clinical trials and health outcomes research. Christopher has also managed technical support staff in database development, monitoring, and statistical analysis. Additionally, Christopher has served as a member of the NIDDK O'Brien Center Review Panel at the National Institutes of Health. Christopher began their career as a graduate student and research assistant at the Medical University of South Carolina and worked as a research analyst at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Christopher Swearingen received their B.A. in Psychology from Belmont University from 1992 to 1995. Christopher then pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D. in Biostatistics from the Medical University of South Carolina, which they completed from 2004 to 2009.
