Dr Isabel Yasmin Ritter

Dr. Isabel Yasmin Ritter (Buchsbaum) is an accomplished professional in the field of quality control and neuroscience. Currently serving as Lab Head Quality Control at BioSpring GmbH since September 2020, Dr. Ritter previously held a position as Junior Lab Head in the same department. Prior to BioSpring, experience included a role at HGA Gesundheitsakademie Hessen, focusing on life sciences management, encompassing GMP, GCP, quality management, process and project management, clinical research, and pharmacoeconomics. Dr. Ritter's academic credentials include a PhD from the Graduate School of Systemic Neurosciences at LMU Munich and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the Technical University of Munich. Research experience includes a PhD at the Max Planck Institute of Psychiatry, where Dr. Ritter was involved in exploring novel mechanisms of human cortical development and disease, alongside a brief tenure as a visiting PhD student at the University of Otago.
