Chandra Valmikinathan

Chandra Valmikinathan, PhD MBA, has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Chandra currently holds the position of Vice President of Commercial Operations and Strategy at Biote, a role they started in 2024. Prior to this, from 2021 to 2023, Chandra worked as the Senior Director of Commercial Strategy and Operations at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, where they led a team responsible for data science, analytics, strategic marketing services, and operations. Chandra also played a key role in new product launches and supporting the growth of various business units.

From 2016 to 2021, Chandra held various positions at Ascensia Diabetes Care, including Head of Commercial Strategy and Transformation. In this role, they developed and executed commercial strategies to drive growth and achieve KPIs for the company globally. Chandra was also involved in business development activities, strategic partnerships, and acquisition projects.

Before joining Ascensia Diabetes Care, Chandra worked as the Chief of Staff and Senior Manager of Strategic Initiatives at Bayer, where they effectively managed KPIs and drove volume and revenue growth for the commercial business. Chandra was also involved in project management, business and financial analysis, and the integration of acquired companies. Chandra started their career as a Research Assistant and PhD Candidate at Stevens Institute of Technology and then worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at Georgia Institute of Technology.

Throughout their career, Chandra has demonstrated expertise in commercial strategy and operations, business development, project management, and market analysis. Chandra has a strong track record of driving revenue growth, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative solutions in various industries.

Chandra Valmikinathan, PhD MBA, has a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Madras. Chandra further pursued their education at the Stevens Institute of Technology, obtaining a Master's degree and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. Chandra then conducted a Post Doctoral Fellowship at the Georgia Institute of Technology in the field of Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering. Lastly, they attended the IE Business School where they earned a Global MBA in Business Administration and Management.
