Andy Lawson has over 25 years of work experience in various roles. Andy is currently the Director of Business Solutions Architecture at BioTelemetry, Inc. since July 2020. Prior to this, Andy worked as the Director of Business Systems at BioTelemetry, Inc. from February 2018 to July 2020. Before joining BioTelemetry, Andy held the position of Director, Application Development at the same company from October 2014 to February 2018.

Prior to their tenure at BioTelemetry, Andy worked as the Director of Software Development at Karr Barth Administrators, Inc. from October 2009 to October 2014, where they were responsible for the entire software development lifecycle of the corporate administrative system.

Before that, Andy served as the Director of Information Technology at Avantext, Inc. from July 2007 to October 2009. In this role, they were accountable for the software development, implementation, and support of enterprise systems, as well as the corporate infrastructure.

Andy started their career as a Manager of Software Development at Fiserv from 2002 to 2007, where they provided software and services to the credit union industry.

Prior to joining Fiserv, Andy co-founded Falcon Technologies, a multi-million dollar company that offered benefit enrollment software for the worksite segment of the insurance industry. Andy held the positions of Co-Founder, Product Manager, and Chief Software Architect during their time there from 1997 to 2002.

Andy's earlier experience includes working as a Team Leader at ITI, Inc. from 1995 to 1997, and as a Developer at Copeland Companies from 1993 to 1995.

Andy Lawson has a diverse education history. In 1986, they began their undergraduate studies at Penn State University, where they pursued a degree in Aerospace Engineering. Andy successfully completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Aerospace Engineering in 1992. Following this, they enrolled at Penn State Great Valley and embarked on a Master of Science (MS) program in Software Engineering, which they completed in 2000.

In 2009, Andy attended Rutgers University for a short period of time, focusing on Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) with a specific interest in User Experience. Although the specific degree they pursued at Rutgers is undisclosed, it is important to note that they did not obtain a degree during this time.

To complement their academic background, Andy obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in September 2014. This certification enhances their proficiency in implementing Agile methodologies and working effectively within Scrum teams.
