Kamil Muyldermans

Kamil Muyldermans is an experienced professional currently serving as Alderman at Gemeente en OCMW Huldenberg since January 2013, overseeing areas such as youth, tourism, agriculture, heritage, culture, and libraries. Additionally, Kamil holds the position of President of the city council, leading a board of 21 councilors, and serves as Chairman of the city council for bioTRADING Benelux B.V. since January 2016, where duties as Account Manager for Belgium and Luxembourg are performed. Kamil's academic background includes a Master's thesis at KU Leuven focused on phage proteins as innovative antibiotic solutions and prior student roles at Sciensano and Camco Technologies. Kamil completed a degree in Bioscience Engineering with a major in cell and gene technology and a minor in industrial microbiology at KU Leuven.
