Valerie Bertaina-Anglade

Translational Neurosciences Senior Scientist at Biotrial Inc.

Valerie Bertaina-Anglade is a seasoned neuroscientist with extensive experience in cognitive testing management for early phase clinical trials at Biotrial since May 2001. Currently serving as a translational neurosciences senior scientist, Valerie oversees the implementation of Biotrial's proprietary cognitive testing battery (Pepsy) in both healthy subjects and patient populations. Valerie has a strong background in project management, including coordination of international multi-site clinical studies and leadership roles in EU-Horizon2020 IMI-funded projects such as PRIME and PRISM. Prior to Biotrial, Valerie held various positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and the Université Bordeaux1, where responsibilities included CNS project leadership and postdoctoral research. Valerie holds a PhD in Neuroscience and Pharmacology from Université de Bordeaux, alongside an MSc from Sophia Antipolis (CNRS) and a BSc from Université Côte d'Azur.
