Rene Rice

Rene Rice has a diverse background in finance and business administration with over 27 years of experience. Most recently, in 2021, Rene worked as the Director of Finance at BIOTRONIK. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2021, Rene held the position of Sr. Director/Controller - Grocery Channel at Duracell, where they led the finance, accounting, and sales commercial functions for the Food and Convenience Store Channels. Rene also spent some time at Procter & Gamble in 2015 as a Business Unit Controller, leading the FP&A, accounting, and sales commercial functions.

In earlier roles, Rene worked at Siemens Industry Inc. in various senior finance and business administration positions. For example, from 2014 to 2015, Rene served as the Sr. Director of Finance and Business Administration at Siemens Industry Inc., overseeing the finance, accounting, and commercial functions for the Service Delivery business. Similarly, from 2011 to 2014, Rene held the position of Sr. Director of Finance and Business Administration within the Customer Services Division, leading the finance, accounting, and sales commercial functions.

Before Siemens, Rene worked in different finance-focused roles, such as Director of Finance and Business Administration at Siemens Industry Inc., Manager of Corporate Business Planning and Financial Analysis, and Project Leader of Corporate Business Planning and Financial Analysis at Siemens as well. Overall, Rene has demonstrated a strong ability to lead financial analysis, budgeting, reporting, and business administration functions throughout their career.

Rene Rice holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with specializations in Finance and Accounting. They also have a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, focusing on Simulation, Modeling, and Optimization. In addition, Rene has obtained a Private Pilot Certificate from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in 2013 and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of North Carolina since 2001.
