Josh Whitt, Ph.D.

Josh Whitt, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research and development. Josh is currently working as an Associate Director and Scientist at BioXcel Therapeutics, Inc. since 2022. Previously, they held positions at Flexion Therapeutics, starting as a Research Intern in 2008 and eventually becoming a Senior Scientist in Translational Research from 2019 to 2022. During their time at Flexion Therapeutics, they gained a deep understanding of musculoskeletal and pain indications, identified and prioritized novel therapeutic targets, and led educational efforts for the portfolio team.

Before joining Flexion Therapeutics, Josh worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Brown University from 2016 to 2019.
