Ziga Vrtacic

Ziga Vrtacic has worked in a variety of roles since 2007. Ziga started as a Junior Information Architect at Renderspace, then moved on to become a National Community Manager at Nokia in 2010. In 2013, they became a Product Manager for Digital Solutions at Si.mobil d.d. In 2015, they were appointed Director of Product Development at Outfit7 Ltd., and in 2016 they co-founded Danes je nov dan, a private non-profit organisation. In 2020, they co-founded Bird Buddy, which became the most funded project ever in the Gadgets category.

Ziga Vrtacic obtained a Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Ljubljana between 2007 and 2012. Prior to this, they attended I. gimnazija v Celju from 2003 to 2007. In addition, they hold certifications from SXSW (Interactive game narratives in open game worlds, obtained in March 2015), University of Pennsylvania (Gamification, obtained in December 2012), and Google (Google Adwords, obtained in September 2012).
