Luke Jillett has a diverse work experience highlighted by their most recent role as a Construction Project Coordinator at Bird Construction, starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Summer Student (Engineering Student) at Nova Scotia Transportation and Infrastructure Renewal from May to August 2021, where they completed estimates for future capital projects, assisted in highway and road inspections, and provided oversight for contracted work. From May 2017 to August 2019, Luke worked as a Public Works Summer Student Labourer at the Town of Windsor Public Works Department, where they completed physically demanding tasks, operated heavy equipment, and drove work vehicles. Additionally, from June 2014 to August 2019, they gained customer service experience as a Cashier/Customer Service representative at Sobeys.
Luke Jillett started their education in 2015 at Acadia University, where they obtained a Certificate in Applied Science. Luke then went on to attend the University of New Brunswick from 2018 to 2022. At UNB, Luke pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering and also earned a Diploma in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship.
