Mudia Osamwonyi

Mudia Osamwonyi, P.Eng, M.Eng, has extensive experience in engineering and quality management, currently serving as Quality Manager at Bird Construction since September 2013, overseeing diverse industrial projects across multiple disciplines including process piping, mechanical, electrical, and civil operations. Previously, Mudia worked as a Graduate Research Engineer at the University of Waterloo, focusing on process optimization using Aspen HYSYS and COMSOL Multiphysics, and as a Project Engineer at ExxonMobil, where significant cost savings were achieved through proactive project management. Early career experience includes a role as a Process Operator at the National Piping and Petroleum Marketing Company, managing operations for refined oil and natural gas. Mudia holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
