Thomas Dalmau has over 17 years of work experience in the architecture and construction industry. Thomas is currently working as a Design Manager at Bird Construction since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at IBI Group as a Project Manager from 2019 to 2022, where they managed various projects including the Nanaimo Correctional Centre Redevelopment and Royal Columbian Hospital Enabling Works. From 2016 to 2019, they worked at Khôra Architecture + Interiors, first as an Associate responsible for quality assurance, documentation control, and client onboarding, and later as a Project Manager handling projects such as SFU Burnaby District Energy Utility and SFU Surrey Library Renovation. Before that, they worked at Graham and Sons Exterior Installations Pty Ltd as a Carpenter Assistant, and at Guymer Bailey Architects Pty Ltd as an Architect and Architectural Technologist, where they worked on a range of projects including residential, commercial, healthcare, and correctional projects.
Thomas Dalmau attended QUT (Queensland University of Technology) from 2005 to 2012, earning a Master of Architecture - MArch degree in the field of Architecture.
