Rafael Matsumoto

Rafael Matsumoto is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in developing and modernizing cloud-based platforms and applications. Currently at Bird since August 2022, Rafael focuses on creating a reliable email sending platform utilizing AWS services for enhanced system robustness. Previously, Rafael contributed to the modernization of the Credit Bureau at Zup Innovation and tackled text-related challenges using NLP at Magrathea Labs, where proficiency in REST APIs and cloud resource management was demonstrated. Earlier career roles include back-end development at Lyncas, where Rafael improved workflows through automation, and full-stack development at Jornada Educação e Tecnologia, where features were implemented for service scheduling software. Rafael holds a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Católica de Santa Catarina, earned in December 2021.
