Jacob Job

Jacob Job is a seasoned professional in communications and conservation, currently serving as the Director of Communications at the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies since March 2024. Prior experience includes roles at Colorado State University, where Jacob was the Associate Director of the Bird Genoscape Project, overseeing various responsibilities such as project management, relationship development, and science communication. Jacob also contributed as a Research and Communications Coordinator for the Global Biodiversity Center, focusing on public engagement and social media management. As a National Geographic Explorer from November 2018 to May 2021, Jacob led the 'Voices of a Flyway' project, investigating human impacts on songbirds. Educational credentials include a PhD in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology from Western Michigan University and a Master's in Ecology from Eastern Michigan University.
