Francisco Lourenço

Francisco Lourenço has diverse work experience in software engineering and entrepreneurship. Francisco co-founded Bird Eats Bug in 2019 and worked as a Software Engineer at Atfarm from 2018 to 2019. Francisco also worked as a Software Engineer at BCG Digital Ventures from 2018 to 2018, Matmatch from 2017 to 2018, and BCG Digital Ventures again in 2017. Before that, they served as the CTO and Co-Founder of Toopit, a B2B startup focused on developing a secure management system for medical teams from 2016 to 2017. Francisco gained experience as a Software Engineer at Lendico Deutschland GmbH, BCG Digital Ventures, and Talon.One in 2016. Prior to that, they were a Founder of Smooth Key Scroll, a Google Chrome browser extension that aimed to improve scrolling with keyboard controls and gained over 20,000 weekly users from 2013 to 2015.

Francisco Lourenço has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software and Media Applications from Syddansk Erhvervsskole. Francisco also holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software and Media Applications from Instituto Politécnico de Viseu. In addition, Francisco has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidade de Coimbra.

In terms of certifications, Francisco completed the course "Startup Engineering" offered by Coursera in September 2013. Francisco also obtained certifications in "Introduction to Music Production" and "Algorithms: Design and Analysis, Part 1" from Coursera in April 2013 and March 2013 respectively.
