Deaton Wright

Deaton Wright currently serves as the Regional Operations Manager at Bird, having joined the company in August 2023, after previously holding various roles including Market Manager and Operations Associate. Prior to this, Deaton accumulated extensive experience at WB Surf Camp from May 2012 to August 2023, where responsibilities included Vice President of Operations and Director of Operations for affiliated camps such as Sea Turtle Camp and Cape Fear Paddle Boarding. Deaton's earlier roles include Manager at REAL Watersports and Project Manager at Southern Vista, as well as a Programs Specialist at the Town of Breckenridge, Colorado, and Preventative Maintenance Director at Staybridge Suites® Hotels. Educationally, Deaton holds a Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Sports Leadership, and Tourism Management from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, earned between 2011 and 2016.
