Breanna Hughes

Breanna Hughes has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Tier1CRM Inc., where they analyzed business processes and implemented Salesforce solutions for various companies. From 2009 to 2011, they served as the Director of Product Management at Artez Interactive, overseeing the product strategy and vision for a CMS and e-commerce fundraising platform. In 2011, they co-founded HackerYou, an in-person learning experience for development, design, and entrepreneurship.

From 2011 to 2013, Breanna worked as a Senior Product Manager, Retail at Xtreme Labs Inc., collaborating with retail, eCommerce, and CPG brands to plan, design, and build mobile solutions. Breanna also assisted with product marketing and post-launch performance. Subsequently, they joined Pivotal Labs as a Senior Product Manager, where they worked with important brands to plan, design, and build mobile solutions, ensuring alignment with client goals and objectives.

In 2015, Breanna became a Senior Product Manager at Wattpad, leading the growth team focused on user acquisition and retention. Breanna conducted A/B and multi-variant tests to acquire sticky users. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Head of Product at Universe.com, where they established agile methodologies and user research techniques to enhance customer event success.

Breanna joined Canada Learning Code as a Co-Founder in 2011, a position they held until 2018. Notably, in 2017, they became a part of League Inc., initially as a Senior Product Manager and later as the Director of Product. During their tenure, Breanna introduced new agile ways of working and built a strong team focused on solving customer problems and driving business value.

Currently, Breanna is the Co-Founder and COO of The Bird&Be Co., a company addressing the broken fertility experience by offering personalized fertility kits and educating customers on fertility health. Breanna aims to help customers optimize their outcomes with scientifically proven personalized supplements.

Breanna Hughes pursued their education at Ryerson University from 2003 to 2007, obtaining a BCOM with a focus in Information Technology Management - Enterprise Systems. Prior to that, they attended the University of Toronto in 2002-2003, where they pursued a BSCI in Computer Science.
