Daniel Roberts has had a varied career in customer success and sales management. In 2012, they began their career as a Graduate Management Programme at Polestar. In 2013, they moved to Durhamlane as a Sales Executive. In 2015, they joined Kiwilink Internet Services as a Sales Executive before returning to Durhamlane as a Senior Customer Success Manager and Senior Sales Team Leader. Most recently, in 2023, they joined Birdie as an Enterprise Customer Success Manager.

Daniel Roberts attended St Aidans Sixth Form Academy from 2005 to 2007, where they studied Philosophy, English language and literature, and Applied ICT. Daniel then went on to the University of Sunderland from 2008 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Business and Marketing.
