Cari Roberts Cameron is the current Head of Marketing at Birdies. Cari has held this position since November 2021. Prior to this, they were the Senior Director of Marketing, Loyalty & Payments at Gap Inc. from November 2018 to November 2021. In this role, they were responsible for establishing the Brand Management team and strengthening Gap’s brand positioning.
Cameron has extensive experience in seasonal and annual planning, having led strategic marketing planning processes for both Annual and Seasonal plans to ensure all programs are aligned with brand message and business goals. Cari has also developed strategic working processes with regional and global marketing functions to ensure shared commitment, brand alignment and clarity of execution. Additionally, Cameron has driven strategic oversight for launch of babyGap and GapKids social channels: Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest.
Cameron has also managed various partnerships and initiatives over the course of their career. Cari led discovery phase for all potential brand partnerships to explore strategic opportunities and analyze brand relevancy. Cari also managed all design collaborations (Paddington x babyGap and Kate Spade x Jack Spade + GapKids) from inception to execution. Lastly, they led strategy for annual global promotions planning process to ensure programs drove revenue while protecting and building brand loyalty.
Cari Roberts Cameron graduated from the Montclair Kimberley Academy before attending Syracuse University. At Syracuse, they earned their Bachelor of Science in Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications.
