Lara Makowski-Komura

Lara Makowski-Komura is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sales, marketing, and academic research. Currently serving as the PA to the Director of Global Sales Management at Birkenstock Group B.V. & Co. KG since August 2021, Lara has previously held roles in sales and marketing at ADEKA Europe GmbH and conducted postdoctoral research at Kobe University, where a Doctor of Philosophy was obtained. With a strong educational background, including an MBA and a Bachelor of Arts in International Business, Lara has diverse experience ranging from teaching English as a second language in Japan to market research and translation for prominent companies like Yanmar Co., LTD and Taprogge Japan.
